Authorize Cybergenetics to RE-ANALYZE CORD'S DNA

August 18, 2017

Re: Inform BCI to forward DNA to Cybergenetics to re-analyze: Cold Case 2006-00241169

Dear Public Safety Director Michael McGrath and Cleveland Chief of Police Calvin Williams,

I’m sure you’re busy, so I’ll keep letter brief and to the point. Cybergentics has offered to re-analyze the DNA test results from the cord used to strangle survivor Vernice Crutcher in June 2006.

We’re asking that you make that very urgent call. Give the authorization for re-testing by Cybergenetics.

We maintain that her attacker was now convicted serial killer Anthony E. Sowell.

Ohio and federal laws dictate that Ms. Crutcher is entitled to “access to information,” “meaningful role in the criminal justice system,” “due process,” and “equal protection under the law.”

Please at your earliest convenience, contact the BCI and instruct them to forward her DNA test results to Cybergenetics for a more advanced DNA testing.

Furthermore, her gray watch and ring retrieved from Mr. Sowell’s home. Please also have the County Medical Examiner test these for Ms. Crutcher’s DNA. See Coroner’s photo Inv.9-2140 -Item no. 37

Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation.
